    hello!

basically as the title my sidebar looks rubbish, the spacing, the titles with that weird line thing etc….

on my old template i had it looked great, i tried copying that code in to the new template and it just messed the page up.

on my site if you click on the previous post categories, it comes up with a list of titles underlined and in orange, (the sidebar is underneath rather than right which im trying to get advice how to put it to the right on another thread)

Can I get my sidebar to have the same look style as the ones in the previous posts title lists?

hope it makes some sort of sense, any help or advice would we welcome ive tried to sort this for about a week now and im getting no where!

    thanks

    chris.

oh the site is https://www.chrissayburn.com ??

I see lots of Greek mixed in with the English on your site. Is it supposed to be there?

Generally, you cannot just copy the sidebar from one theme to another and expect it to look right. You have to do some significant css editing to accomplish this. You will have to edit the css class and/or id of the sidebar elements in sidebar.php and edit your stylesheet (style.css).

Greek!!? nope not supposed to be there!

I’ve managed to fluke my way to do it, the only thing I need to do now is align the sidebar to the right when someone has clicked on “previous post” categories (it goes underneath rather than to the right)

The Greek lettering is now gone… Very strange!

Can I get my sidebar to have the same look style as the ones in the previous posts title lists?

Yes, if you have the stylesheet of the sidebar for the old template, then it won’t be hard to use that for the new template you have.
