My shop won’t import

  • Hi,

    I was trying your plugin, but when I go to import my site, it says it is in maintenance mode and no products could be imported. However, my shop is not in maintenance mode. Any idea why I’m getting this error?

    Thanks for your help. We are moving hosting yet again to a Managed WordPress site. I think that the cpanel hosting just doesn’t have the resources for a wordpress site.

    Maybe that will help with the import too. I’ll let you know.

    Hello again. So, we are now on a managed wordpress site with unlimited resources. Now, when I run the plugin I am getting this error:

    Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/content/p3nexnas06_data03/68/3589068/html/wp-includes/class-wp-image-editor-imagick.php on line 352

    Also, one other thing. When I go in to the Product Post in wordpress and try to add a link to add the product to the cart in the big cartel store, I’m getting this error:

    Not making promises this will fix everything, primarily the timeout error presented earlier, but it may help with some other issues going on, including the foreach error. The timeout error is a server setting, and simply put, it’s taking longer than 30 seconds to process the entire import.

    It’s never been a heavy traffic plugin, which is why it hasn’t really been touched in a long while, and some of these issues went unnoticed.

    That did the trick. Now I can edit the description and add the Buy now button. Thanks! I’m going to hop on with help in the morning and see if there is a setting we can change so the Timeout doesn’t happen. Thanks so much!
