• I’m trying to add my own counts, since my website is still new and unknown and nothing is showing up.

I believe you say to click “Url of the homepage of your website” and click “show share counts” Nothing happens even after clearing cache. I’m using standard interface. I’ve tried it on the first two posts seen here at https://femininefusion.net.

Say this is the correct way to get it to work, when I try to share it to facebook it doesn’t show the right image.

    I really like your plugin.

We are looking into the share count issue. To get Facebook sharer pick the correct image, install the plugin from following link:

To fix the share count issue, update your plugin. We have just released the bugfix version.

    Thank you for responding quickly!

The update did help somewhat. But for some reason, the front page count doesn’t show what’s in the post count (which I put in myself as I did the post. And they are all exactly the same numbers. The next page of posts has nothing marked at all, which is what I expected.

Please have a look to see what I mean.

Perhaps there is something I’m not understanding.

This is kind of bug in the plugin. For now, you can replace existing wp-content/plugins/super-socializer/inc/social_sharing.php file with the file at following link:

We will include this fix in next release of the plugin.

Hi! We use your plugin since long time and love it.
We don’t know why suddenly facebook count stopped working.
    Plugins should not crash it.
Always worked fine. Linked in Count works fine.

This post has more then 21k facebooks likes and it always showed. but suddenly stopped.

Do you have an idea? I am clueless. I already deactivated the latest plugins but no success.

    Thanks!

And when might the update be coming along to fix all this? I did change the php file but it didn’t do anything for my site. So I’ve taken the count off and perhaps I’ll have to look around for something that works for me. I hope it’s soon as the rest works really well.

    Hi @libtetto,

We are not able to replicate this issue at our end, neither we are sure about this. Can you send us admin login details, with the priviledge to edit plugin code, at support[at]heateor[dot]com so that we can try debugging?

I’m confused here. I’m asking for “sassy social share” not super-solializer

The info you gave me is not for the right plugin is it? Sassy Social Share does not even have a folder called “inc” in it.

The suggestion quoted above does not pertain to this plugin does it?

Oops!! Sorry, we missed this support forum is for Sassy Social Share. Replace existing wp-content/plugins/sassy-social-share/public/class-sassy-social-share-public.php file with the file at following link:

Two more questions, I have many posts to put this on…

1)is there an easier way than inputting every last one? In other words opening each post and inputting the info?
    2) Will this prevent the real shares from adding up with the others?

For now, you need to enter shares for each page/post individually. We will provide a common option for all posts in upcoming releases.

    2) Will this prevent the real shares from adding up with the others?

Real shares add up to the ones you have specified.

Just when I think it’s all functioning, I notice that on my backend in my post page, it’s not showing all the socials that I have icons for. I have 5 showing on my website but only 4 showing up after my post where I can input my shares. It’s tumblr that isn’t showing even though I have it clicked.

    Plugin Author Heateor Support

    (@heateor)

It’s because Tumblr does not have any API that we can use to fetch Tumblr shares. Our plugin supports share counts for Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, GooglePlus, Delicious, Buffer, Reddit, Pinterest, Stumbleupon and Vkontakte.
