    Same problem too. The first three General options and the Typography options are updating, BUT the rest does not.

    Found the reason and workaround. The reason was a plugin conflict with, in my case, “Video Sidebar Widgets”. The workaround is to modify “simple-author-box.php” (in plugin root) and “sabox_author_box.php” (in plugin “core” folder). I renamed the php variable $options to $sab_options and everything works perfectly.

    Changed the coding, but it doesn’t seem to have done anything. Has anyone else had some success?

    I have it working at a vanilla wordpress installation I use as a sandbox but not in my main site which have some plugins installed

    @mahoyson: I have reviewed the “simple-author-box.php” file and $options string appears more than 40 times. Did you rename all of them?

    @tremebundo65: Yes, I replaced all of them (41 times).
