My SEO Meta Description Not being Displayed in Google Search

Dear Yoast Support,

I have gone to great lengths to ensure that my posts have all the requested information that the Yoast SEO requests including the focus keyword and then the focus keyword in the meta description.

On searching on Google for my posts I get rubbish displayed and cannot find my post easily either.

If as I have seen in various discussions on your site an d others that Google can override your meta description then what is the point of Yoast SEO? I have done a performance test on my site and SEO takes 50% of all processing time for a single post view which takes 4 seconds and SEO using 2 seconds of processing time.

However I digress.
The search I performed was “definition of abortion raymondthebrave.com” and got the following:-

It is listing my page names that are listed from left to right in the entry which I see as incorrect and basically mixing everything up.

I have over 650 post and have been slowly updating them to your SEO standards and it takes time which I would hope would bear fruit.

Please can you help me?
BTW Microsoft webmaster says that I must have a valid <meta name=”description” content=”Information and Teaching on Bible subjects from A to Z”>

i saw in one of your suggestions to fix a problem to remove this entry. Who do I believe as Webmaster fails my pages/posts becuase I do not have description and content field.

I have no viewers at all at the moment as I moved across from .com to .org on Blue Host and I am very despondent and the moment.
