My self-hosted blog suddenly stopped loading

  • Hi, my self-hosted blog at https://www.fromhispresence.com suddenly stopped loading today. I can’t figure out why. I contacted my hosting provider (Bluehost) and they said it’s not a server issue. They sent me a bunch of links (all gibberish to me) about optimizing my site, but I’ve never had a problem before and I’ve had this blog 8 months.

    Of note, I did add a couple new domain names to my Bluehost account last week, and Monday I started building one of them out: https://www.samuelburger.com. I am wondering if the problem might be having 2 sites on my Bluehost acct, but they say you can put unlimited sites on.

    Help? I do not know what to do. Thank you!

  • check the DNS is ok (nameservers)
    check where you domain root is pointed to.

    I just checked the nameservers, and they are ok.
    I am not sure where to check the domain root? but I checked all my settings in Bluehost and they look normal.

    in hosting their is somtimes a option to tell the server what directory to serv for each domain, thats the root directory
