Hello

My WordPress “search” plugin isn’t functioning. Nothing happens when I click on it. Does anyone have any thoughts?

    Here is the site.

The plugin is the on the right sidebar towards the bottom.

    Thank you in advance.

  • I do not find any search plugin. Which search plugin are you using?

Do you mean the search box? Well, it is not functioning. It is because of your theme which seems to be outdated. Try installing a fresh updated version of the theme. That will solve the problem.

It looks like the creator of State of Mind theme has stopped updating. Do you have any thoughts on how to fix the non-functionong SEARCH box?

You are right. The State of Mind theme was last updated on 2009-02-18. It is over two years since the last update. In any case you have to change the theme because all other software including plugins, WP itself, and even server configurations have so changed much in this period that incompatibility and security issues are bound to occur. Also, most experts are of the opinion that themes older than two years must not be used for the above reasons.

The search box only has this html
Search
and no functionality.
