My Review

For the most part, it seems to be working. I’m glad there is a custom design for the interface to create a survey that matches your site. It is a little tricky/buggy that might frustrate a novice user. For example, I wanted to see how it looked as a “slider” (tab that stays on left side of page). It looked ok. However, I had one of the slider settings on start question on Question #3 (just testing everything out). I then wanted to see it with a shortcode. So I selected shortcode and put it where I wanted it on a page of mine. Well, every time I loaded the page the survey would load on Question 3. At first, I thought it had some excellent cookie tracking thinking since I stopped at question 3 that is where it would reload itself upon revisiting the page. Wouldn’t that have been nice!! LOL

It turns out as you may already know since I had the radio button click, but on the slider option to start on question 3 it was loading my survey on question 3. I thought it should not have been a problem since I selected a totally different option (the embed option)

I also noticed that I was able to shrink the width, but not height for the survey interface. Not sure what’s up with that.

They do have a goodlist of videos to help you on their club.wpeka site. However, they are about 2 years old!! eeek. I suppose they still explain enough to get the job done.

Finally, I use Thrive content builder to make landing pages. If you also use a 3rd party plugin to build landing pages then there is a good chance the slider and pop up options wont work. However I got the short code to work on my landing pages.

I just bought it today. Becuase of the things I mentioned I do not think it is worth 47 dollars. What it is currently listed for on their WPeka site. However I had coupon and got a deal so I bought. I think they said 60 days for a refund. If I find something better may plan to refund.

Another thing… I don’t see the function to add an email address so that I can get emails. It looks as if they took that function out of the version I have. I have their version 5.0

Also I tried Modal survey… way more features and cheaper too!!! You might want to check that one out instead. But I could not get Modal’s shortcode to work on my website unfortunately (using my 3rd party content builder). It works in the normal WP editor just fine. Surveyfunnel on the other hand has worked for me. Just not as good.

All that said surveyfunnel is still a good plugin. It will get the job done. With a few more tweaks I think it could be awesome!!!! If they got it to work on my Thrive content builder landing pages that would be EVEN BETTER!!!
