My registered domain is redirecting to my .wordpress site

I ported my .wordpress site to bluehost and exported the xml content into the bluehost hosted site. That worked perfectly. However, when I changed the nameservers on the .wordpress site to redirect to the registered domain on bluehost, all the pages on my bluehost site started redirecting to the .wordpress site.

Does this mean I changed the nameservers on the wrong site? Changing the nameservers back to their defaults on the .wordpress site didn’t fix anything, and I can’t get to any of the settings on the registered bluehost site to mess with the nameservers there. Do I need to just delete everything on bluehost and export/import all over? Would that even help?

It’s only been 25 days since the domain was registered on wordpress, so I can’t just port the domain yet.

Please help! I’d be most thankful for a solution. ??
