My posts disappeared! Weird!

    I was working on my site just 8 hours ago, all was fine. It was coming together nicely. It looked great! Almost done! And now none of the posts or pages show up. I have several other WP sites on my server and they are all working.

    My posts show up on the manage page, the index page shows up, and only one category is working. I have replaced files I changed from last night, re-uploaded the core WP files, deactivated unnecessary plugins, checked my database tables to see if they need repairing, checked my config file to be sure its pulling form the right database and I cannot find the problem!

    The site is ColoradoSenate.com. The other WP site I have set up that works is LeadershipProgram.org.

    Please offer suggestions! I’ve already gotten down on my knees, pledged my first born and sacrificed two chickens on my fireplace! Those didn’t work either!

    FIXED!!!

    I did this once, but tried it again and it worked…

    I was using custom URI structure for my permalinks and archives. So I deleted the structure, updated it and VIOLA!

    Now I’ve added the permalink structure back and STILL VIOLA!!

    Go figure….

    … or could have been the chickens…

    Now I will sloooooooooowly add back my plugins…

    Keep praying!

    Hey, maybe that was my problem! Good! Now I’ve got enough courage to try again. Hopefully mine will be “still voila” when it’s all said and done ;o)

    Do you think, perhaps, that it has something to do with the way WP wrote to the .htaccess file?
