My post disappeard

  • I created a custom post status, set a post with this status and the post disappeared.

    I could not filter the custom post status and the post did not even show when I set the filter to show all posts.

    Searching the post name did not work. The post was lost.

    It did not even reappear after I disabled the plugin.

    Hi @mara-z,

    please activate the plugin again. Once a custom status is set and you deactivate the plugin, your post will no longer be available (See FAQs). I hope to make up for your bad experience.

    All settings you have set, like “show all posts” are only valid for the backend. The only setting which is valid for the frontend is “public”. Please see if your post shows up for you again once the plugin is re-enabled.

    The status assigned to the post must exist!

    If you still have problems, please contact us again. This should not happen.

    I tested the plugin on a staging copy, so it’s not a problem the post disappeared.

    The custom post status did not show on the post list in the backend.

    No custom post status to filter, the post did not show in all posts. The post was gone.

    I wanted to let you know. It was not a problem for me, but I could be a problem for other people.
