• Been working on my portfolio/blog for a good while now, finally feel like I have it ready to show off. Tell me what you think:

I post a couple things there, my recent work (fader powered by jquery), blog posts, movie reviews, designs I like, and it has my latest flickr photos.

  • If web designing wasn’t your job – I’d say that the giant image fader eats up too much space – and pushes down all the interesting content down XD

Maybe you could go with a smaller height, but like I said – web design = you, so this is a pretty much straightforward way of telling people that you design websites ??

    I like the layout – I’ve always been a fan of white-websites ^0^ – Great work

Interesting. But do you make web sites that adhere to web standards?

    Apparently not.

I think the header is overdone, frankly. Metaphorically speaking, I feel like Im driving down the freeway and just saw some ostentatious Hummer. But then, judging by the humble, “enjoys being awesome” thats probably the effect youre going for.

Work on your validation. It takes more than pretty (big) images, and some CSS to be a designer in todays world.

Yea, this blog is really like 1/3 blog and 2/3 portfolio. It more about getting me new work than the blog content.

But do you make web sites that adhere to web standards?
Ah, had a span and an a tag mixed, cause a list of errors, the rest are from the flickr badge. I’ve made a thread on their forums asking about the issue.

Like successfully working in the field for the past five years?

But thanks for the comments, I’m still getting everything sorted out.

I just noticed – you have a link, ‘skills/references’ there on the rightmost column – it’s kind of hard to notice. If I was looking for someone to make a website for me, I’ll be interested in finding out more about the person – so it would benefit you if you can make that link more obvious/easier to spot ;D

yes, actually. but then, you’re awesome. *snicker*

I apologize, that was mean. Your blog is nice, if you like Hummers ?? I cant help it, thats just what it reminds me of ??
