My paragraph breaks aren’t showing.

  • I wrote a post in Word, cut and paste into the write post of word press. Now I have no paragraphs. I checked the html, and it looks like the tags are all there, but on my site, there are no prargraph breaks. It seems that if I write directly into word press the breaks are there, but if I cut and past into word press I have problems.

    If I can’t write in Word and w.bloggar first without formating issues, then I’m ditch Word Press altogether.

  • Word is notorious for creating a mess when pasting into WordPress, and indeed anything else that creates (X)HTML. The usual recommendation is not to use Word as a post editor.

    If you really need to use it, pasting into Notepad first, then copying from Notepad into WP will remove the formatting chaos.

    I don’t know anything about w.bloggar, but perhaps someone else can advise on that.
