• I have had all my sites for 3 years.

on 2 of them, just the landing page is showing. both in the back office, and live.
If im in any page in the back office and click VIEW PAGE it goes to the static landing page.

If im live as a user on the site, and click any page on the navbar, it just boucnes to the landing page.

I have a google experiment on 3 landing pages, and although in google analytics its says this is working, when yo go on the stie, only this same page is showing. SO I dont know if its working, as the site is not allowing anything to show BUT that one page

the ONLY page for anything you click on the site both in back office and live.

Optimize press – gate way launch check, caused this on one site, i unchecked it and it was ok.

On the site that is now not working, i have not set up anything for optimize press so its NOT that.

    Please help!

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    – switching back to the default permalink structure

    HI! thank you!

If i deactivate all of them will it screw up my site?

do you know what would make this happen? is this normal? Its never happened to any of my sites before and now this weeks its been 2 of them.

    Thank YOU!

Not in any way that should be permanent but these are steps that you need to carry out if you want to get to the root cause of your problem.

do you know what would make this happen?

There are many possible cusses. The above process is intended to reduce the number of potential culprits.

    is this normal?

It can happen after an upgrade – especially if one of your plugins or your theme hasn’t been updated for a while.

    you are awesome!

    Thank you!

Google experiment was causing the errors. The site is working now, but my experiment sadly, cannot run.

    than you for your help!

    happy friday!
