My Page URL/Permalink is not working

Well we all who are using WordPress know what a permalink is that and I am having a problem related with it.
The problem is when I go to create a page then I try to set the url or the permalink it doesn’t allow me instead it sets something likehttps://domain.com/?page_id=3396
Can’t create a
https://domain.com/about-me/Can u help????
