my page takes ages to load

Hiya, I’m having some great difficulty with my site loading in good time. I have used a stopwatch to time how long the index page takes to load in IE6/Chrome/Firefox and it runs to about 30 secs.

Why is my page taking so long? I have already tried to deactivate the Flickr plug-in and it has no effect.
