    Hi….

    Am trying your plugin now.

So far I have mixed results.
    https://www.paularenson.org/test-1-automatic/

      1) top playlist Composed of two videos not made by me. It works.
You can see the thumbnails below to choose.

      2) Second playlist are my cat videos
      a) You only see a player. I want to see the thumbnails below. Why does the first playlist have the thumbnails and the bottom one does not?

      B) Also, it is not clear you have to click the playlist in the bottom one. And after choosing, it obscures the video player unless in full page mode.

      3) A final question is, ow to I go back to the settings for each gallery to change the page load settings???

      Thank you.

If I can understand this, I may even buy the pro version.

Notice it says private video. If you click it says IF the owner has given you access, please sign in.

As far as I know I thought I made it public. I am not seeing the place on youtube where I can make my videos public.

Under my videos in content I see they ae all listed as draft. I cannot find out how to hover over a video and change it

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    2) Second playlist are my cat videos
    a) You only see a player. I want to see the thumbnails below. Why does the first playlist have the thumbnails and the bottom one does not?

Please get me the shortcode you use for the second gallery. If you’re using our Gutenberg block, get me the playlist URL you use. So, I can get a clue on the issue.

    B) Also, it is not clear you have to click the playlist in the bottom one. And after choosing, it obscures the video player unless in full page mode.

When selecting a video from the playlist at the bottom, the plugin scrolls top to the player. But, I see the top portion of the player is hidden behind your theme’s header. Do you speak about the same? If yes,

    1. Open /wp-content/plugins/automatic-youtube-gallery/public/public.php

    2. Scroll down to the “register_scripts” function.

    3. Find the line below,
    'top_offset' => 10,

    4. Change it as,
    'top_offset' => 100,

    5. Save the changes and check now.

You can also try our other themes,
    https://demo.plugins360.com/automatic-youtube-gallery/theme-playlister/
    https://demo.plugins360.com/automatic-youtube-gallery/theme-popup/

    3) A final question is, how to I go back to the settings for each gallery to change the page load settings?

This makes me understand that you have used our shortcode builder to generate you shortcode and use it in your POST/PAGE.

You can still edit the shortcode and change the attributes (settings) as you like. Alternatively, you can simply rebuild the shortcode using the shortcode builder again and replace it with your existing shortcode.

Regarding the YouTube video “draft” status,

This exact question was answered in a post by a user named “ytKeane” who is a Google employee.

    Hope this helped you!

Thank you. I tried what you said.

First I realized I made a mistake with shortcode. I thought after creating the shortcode i go to page and then use your block.

      SUCCESS

But NOW I realized I just go in and paste the shortcode as TEXT. It works!!! (bottom version).

      STILL A PROBLEM

On the other hand, after trying again with changing the php file as you mentioned in my CPanel File Manager, I went and made a new attempt of the gallery with the Block but it still gives the same result — the player is hidden behind your theme’s header– but only with the Block. As you see in the bottom version this time.

      SUMMARY

So top Embed works but bottom block does not…..

Anyway I am happy and willing to buy the Pro, if I can understand why with the Shortcake it still does not work….

You can add the gallery using 2 methods,
    1. Shortcode
    2. Gutenberg Block

I understand you got success using the “Shortcode” method but failed with the Gutenberg block method.

I see you are having trouble finding our plugin’s Gutenberg block. In other words, the top video block on this URL https://www.paularenson.org/test-1-automatic/ doesn’t use our plugin’s “Automatic YouTube Gallery” block.

Please follow the exact steps provided here https://plugins360.com/automatic-youtube-gallery/building-youtube-gallery-using-gutenberg/

    Hope this helped you!

Ah, thank you. I was trying to paste the playlist URL into the box rather than on the right. Now it works.

All is fine, except for one question. Is it possible to remove the Youtube links that appear at the end of the video (if you click them they take you to youtube). I currently enabled the free trial of pro.)

    Thanks!

I understand that you speak about the “Related Videos” displayed at the end of the video. Sorry, technically it’s not possible to hide them https://developers.google.com/youtube/player_parameters#release_notes_08_23_2018

Ah, that is too bad. I like your plugin. But I thought I might find that. As you say, most plugins don’t seem to have it (because of YouTube’s TOS).

But this afternoon I notice two plugins that seem to do it. Maybe they are in violation?

One is embed plus. I just tested it…
    https://www.paularenson.org/embed-test/

It seems they have a way to hide related videos ( Show or hide related and recommended videos at the end of playback. –>Show related videos only from the video’s channel –> Show related videos —>Hide related videos at the end of playback )

On the negative side, they are very slow to answer questions….

The other is Video Gallery–. One of the demos (slider) doesn’t have related videos but two other demos below have them—and I can’t find any info on that in their documentation.
    https://www.yotuwp.com/demo/

Anyway, thank you very much. I especially like your support.

    Best regards!

I see the first plugin in your reply simply stops the video right at the last frame to keep the related videos from displaying. This is really a nice trick.

I have taken note of this now and I promise we would have this in the future. Please be patient.
