Hi, just wondering if anyone else has had the problem of having their own IP blocked after updating the theme and add-ons? I’m aware it could be a variety of issues causing this problem, so am just checking this out as a possibility. Thanks.

  • Hi,

WordPress or Theme does not have the ability to block your ip address from your web server. It’s either you have a plugin that has the ability to block ip address or your web server is blocking your ip address.

You can check with your web hosting company whether your ip address has been block by their web server.

If it’s plugin related, please get help from plugin author.

    Thank you

Thanks Denzel, that helps me a lot in eliminating a lot of possibilities for me. I’ll check through my plugins next, thank you.

    You are welcome.
    Thank you

I also had this issue and my host could not find the problem for a month! I was using a vpn to access my site. I saw your issue and I changed themes only for me to be able to access it again via my wifi IP.
