    I am having an issue with my newsletter going out twice at the same time, rather than the regular one time. This just started happening to me a few weeks ago and I haven’t made any major changes.

    I did tried emailing customer service
    deactivated other plug-ins to see if that would help
    also created a cron to see if that would help…

    nothing I have tried has worked.

    Can someone give me some assistance? please

  • Hi @olga_i,

    This problem is normally caused because you have disabled the MailPoet’s cron in MailPoet > Settings > Advance > Geeky Options > Enable MailPoet’s Cron.

    Make sure you enable the option: “I’ll setup a cron job on my server to execute at the frequency I want”.

    Actually I found a solution. There was nothing posted anywhere that could help me with this problem. Running crons had nothing to do with it. Turning other plug-ins off did not fix it either. Eventually, as I transitioned to another service, I decided to re-install the MailPoet plug-in all together and this did the trick. I was able to import my lists back into the program and now it works fine. So maybe this could be something you guys can suggest to your clients, rather than doing all the steps I had to go thru to end up finding a solution by pure accident.
