hello, I have just set up MailPoet and specified my own email address as sender address.

To test, whether the eMail dispatch works with Mailpoet, I sent an eMail to my second eMail address. Both eMail addresses originate from the same domain, thus internal communication.

Unfortunately, the email is classified as SPAM.

How can I solve this? Do I have to verify the senders eMail address somewhere?

Inside my inbox, where I received the eMail I get the following warning:

“we could not verify the identity of the sender. Click here to get more information”

    Hey @ictobi,

This seems to be an authentication issue. Do you have an SPF record set up for the previous sending method you were using?

If so, you’ll need to include our sending service domain (include:spf.sendingservice.net) to the list of servers authorized to send on your domain’s behalf or simply remove the previous SPF record.

Please refer to this article: Email Authentication: SPF and DKIM
