My New front end to the Ford Galaxy Owners Club

  • I have been looking at lots of themes and software to try and improve the look and feel of the ford galaxy owners club. I was looking for something that was not too clunky and enabled social media to be used to its full potential.

    The site has been running for 13 years but I recently added wordpress to it.

    The ford galaxy owners club has plugins for SEO (by Yoast), WP review, Super socialiser, better RSS and many others.

    I have more on the wish list before I can call it complete.

  • Aesthetically I really quite like it, but there are some issues with the organisation and navigation of content. E.g.

    On some pages you have the latest posts scrolling up in both the left and the right sidebars, which is just a bit odd.

    Also, if I click on ‘Mk 1 Galaxy’ in the header menu, it takes me to a ‘category’ page which I then need to click through to get to the article describing the mk1. It would be much smoother if the header menu link went directly to the article.
