    Hi,

    Thanks again for the plugin.

As of the recent GF update to v2.5.7 (as seemed to happen around the time of the update but maybe a coincidence)
and or perhaps due to multi-page form getting too ‘heavy’ for your plugin – I no longer see it in the Elementor visual editor.

I did before, I can see other simple short GF if I switch to them, but not this long one I’m working on.

I see it on the frontend, in preview mode – but not in the E editor view, where one needs to design with your plugin.

I already designed what I need, but would still be handy seeing the form display to nicely know it is there and for designing the rest of the page!

    Maybe a bug.

I tried removing my form element’s custom CSS, removing HTML in the GF itself for a step I was working on when noticed the form was gone from editor view. As well as refreshing tab etc etc.

    Hi @tekgirlymama

Can you please try adding the form directly using shortcode in the editor and see if it appears in this way? There may be compatibility issues with GF form and Elementor if it still doesn’t appear with the shortcode.

    Thanks

I tried seeing if your plugin is causing new issues in elementor [aside from miles in debug log of stuff like below, maybe as my site runs on PHP8?]
so I deactivated the plugin to troubleshoot.

Guess what. Element vanished from pages I had it designed for 2 LOOOOONG days and into the night. Now also design disappeared. EVERYTHING GONE.
Luck I backed up custom CSS but ALLLLLLL form design vanished.

    Crap plugin

    Hi

I cannot add any GF shortcodes from the Elementor text widget.
The GF function is above WYSIWYG kitchen sink but refuses to function.
manually adding say [gravityform id=”3″ title=”false” description=”false” ajax=”true” ] displays nothing in the e editor. Unless it’s the contact form.
So is it a GF latest modern buggy plugin issue? Or elementor editor latest buggy issue?

Have latest GF and all plugins.

As I wrote – I can add a short contact form and see it in elementor editor but not the multipage form. It appears on frontend just fine but not on the editor.

They would probably blame it on another plugin or addon. Especially as yours generates miles of errors regarding display conditions even though this option in your plugin was long ago deactivated by me. Almost 1MB errors just in past 1h of only me in backend checking things out. Imagine when traffic hits frontend.

Me thinks you need to fix the issue…

    Hi @tekgirlymama

If GF is not working directly with shortcode then surely it is not an issue of PowerPack. It is a compatibility issue between GF and Elementor.

Regarding display conditions, we are looking into the issue. We will update the plugin as soon as we are able to debug it.

    Thanks

    Thanks for reply
I re-upgraded to the latest elementor and then can again see multi-page/step forms, however on the normal WP page elementor editor, not on their Landingpage editor interface.

Strange it worked a week before – maybe their recent upgrades.
But again I downgraded to an older version and it didn’t make a difference.

    GF also had updates recently…

In that case you must contact Elementor support team for any compatibility issues ??

I tried with the shortcode widget. It had a green button on the elements/ settings bar to refresh and upon doing that your form appeared again. on regular page edited in elementor or on an elementor landing page edited in elementor.

adding a GF shortcode via a text widget won’t work in front/backend.
But using their shortcode element it works very well – AFTER updating is the button prompt.

Now, that’s strange needing that element to be able to see your elements’ GF
And obviously not applicable to a live page with a certain design to need another GF in there.

    [gravityform id=”” title=”false” description=”false” ajax=”true” ]
is a workaround, but need to style GF message to display none:
    <div class=”elementor-shortcode”><meta charset=”UTF-8″><p class=”gform_not_found”>Oops! We could not locate your form.</p></div>

    .elementor-shortcode .gform_not_found {display:none;}

and then in editor your element shows me the multi-paged form

We have given options to enable/disable title, description, and ajax. You can disable all if that makes your form to show in the editor.

Also, if reloading the page shows the form in the editor, you can add the widget and reload the page after clicking the Save button.

    Hi

Disabling title, descr’, ajax does nothing to alleviate issue.
I need Ajax and disable title and descr.
Was referring to adding the Elementor shortcode element to the page with a GF shortcode in it that has no form ID selected.

Alas, I discovered it does not always work to place the Elementor shortcode widget on the edited page with GF id=”” as not always doing the trick.
Must select a form in the shortcode and remove the element of course when taking page live.

    Very frustrating.
Probably it’s a combination of GF and Elementor issues and maybe compatibility with yours therefore, as it was all fine last week then some updates were pushed.

But it is not solely their fault. Something deeper is at play, as I have not altered other things on my site when suddenly GF multipage no longer displays via your widget.

    Hi

As I said earlier, it is surely a conflict between Elementor and Gravity Forms. But we can check the issue on your website to confirm it. Please submit your support ticket here along with your login details.
