• So I was editing my site from home as per usual yesterday, and suddenly was unable to access my domain, either the site itself or the WP-admin login page.

I then tried logging in on my mobile device via a 4G connection, which worked as per usual, indicating my modem’s external IP address (Not even sure if this is a thing) had been blocked from accessing the site.

I attempted access again this morning, but was still “blacklisted” or something- I don’t know enough about networking to comment on how I’ve been locked out, other than any device on my home network is unable to access my website.

Please help as I need to be able to edit this site from home.

    Thanks

  • lyndonhamer,

It’s possible that your IP address was blocked by your web host, this can sometimes happen. The best thing to do is open a ticket with your host and see if that is the case.

    Grant.
