My Main sidebar menu is expanded

    Hi,

    I have a child theme of twentyfifteen. For some reason my submenus are already expanded on my site. Bizarrely I have seen lots of people looking for solutions to do thei – I in fact don’t want this. Any idea why/ how I would be getting this non-default behavior.

    I have answered my own question. The difference in behavior is Custom Menu vs Primary menu
