    Hi,

I updated my wp plugins and accidentally clicked onto a page, which subsequently put my page into maintenance mode. After a couple of minutes it worked again and i continued to update the plugins. Having done that i clicked on my front end site and the menu didnt seem to load and the pages themselves look smaller in width (pushing the side bar off the page a little)? I updated the theme to 3.9.1 which hadn’t done so and that didn’t seem to work. I changed to the 2014 theme and the menu appeared on there but when i switched the menu disappeared again so i can only assume it’s something to do with the theme itself (i use ecology123)? I’ve had problems with wp before and fixed them fine but this time i’m unable to put my finger on it?

    Thanks

What was the solution if you don’t mind me asking?

after trying to switch the themes around which didnt work, i thought it was the theme itself but instead i tried deactivating the plugins. but rather than do the all at once i deactivated one at a time and kept checking and sure enough i found the problem. Its fully working again now, I’d advise not to click off the page when a plugin is updating as i think that corrupted the file too.
