    Hi

I have recently installed profile builder plugin for my domain zaherbaher.com

I have created a log in page for the website using the default shortcode for a log in page. This page is located here: https://zaherbaher.com/log-in/

My issue is that on the log in page the page automatically shows the password field but not the username field for the customer to enter their username. Here is a screenshot : https://puu.sh/qqUH6/20a9fae8d7.png

The only way I have found to get the username box to appear is to enter anything in the password field for the invalid password to appear as their is no username however this is not a good way to fix the issue and I would like the username box to always be there as it should: here is a screenshot of the user name box being shown : https://puu.sh/qqUKg/63fc34e023.png

One more thing is that I have read that a free feature of the plugin is the option to be able to redirect the user once they login to a certain page but I cannot find this, could you guide me to where this option can be set

    Thanks

    Hello,

Could you try to disable all of your plugins and see if the username field appears ?

    Waiting for your reply.

    Best Regards.

    Hello there,

Did you manage to solve this issue on your own ?

If not, you could also try to go to Profile Builder -> General Settings and un check the box where it says ‘Load Profile Builder’s own CSS file in the front-end’. You can read more about this feature here.

I also forgot to tell you about the Redirect after login, that can be achieved by adding an additional parameter to your shortcode. The parameter is redirect_url and you can use it like this:
    [wppb-login redirect_url="www.yoursite.com"]

    Best Regards.

Hi sorry for getting back to you so late, I deactivated all of my plugins yet the username field still did not appear however what fixed it was by disabling the option that you just told me about

    Thanks

    Hi

I have now noticed that because I have deactivated the ‘Load Profile Builder’s own CSS file in the front-end, I cannot login as every time I try to login it just shows a blank page even if I deliberately put in incorrect details that I know will not log in

This is what the log in page currently looks like : https://puu.sh/qGeuc/d6711aad96.png

This is what happens when I try to log in : https://puu.sh/qGewt/4a1be739a4.png

Please get back to me as soon as you can

    Thanks

Hi do you have a update on this?

    Hi,

I tried to login with wrong credentials and I was redirected to a blank page. In the browser console I saw this error notice:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 414 (Request-URI Too Long).

This is a server issue and my suggestion would be to contact your hosting about this.

Also I think there is an issue with the theme that you are using. If you use a default WordPress theme you encounter the same issue?

    Best regards,
