[My Life] Theme: Turning off comments on Pages

    Hi, my website is: https://msfteaches.com.

    I’d like to turn comments off of pages, and I’ve looked at previous forums, and they say to go to Pages in editor to take a specific code. I don’t have a “Pages” part in the editor. There is something called “Comments.”

    How can I take comments off of pages in the “My Life” theme?

  • if you haven’t found a solution by using the forum search, then here again:

    disable comments from:

    dashboard – pages – all pages – click quickedit below each page title; untick ‘allow comments’

    or
    dashboard – pages – edit page; click ‘screen options’ near the top right; tick ‘discussion’; scroll down to below the page editor window, untick ‘allow coments’

    if this is all not enough, edit page.php of your theme and remove any ‘comments_template()‘ code.
