I am wanting to have my last name hidden somewhere in my meta information. For example, I’d like, if someone googles “Laurie Scharp”, they would find my site, however I don’t necessarily want everyone looking at my site to see my last name.

Any tips? Where should I put this? I tried putting my name in “keywords” but it didn’t work. I also hear that keywords doesn’t even do anything anyways.

Never ever hide content on your site, Google does not like it when you use hidden text. If you want to show in Google’s index for your name then display your name on your site. Google indexes the content on your site.

Meta Keywords can be disabled, they are no longer used by any major search engine. Google stopped using them in 2009.
