Hello, this is the first time I contact the LiteSpeed Support. I have a image that want to optimize by using LiteSpeed Cache Image Optimization.

But, the problem is my four image are still stated as “Image Groups Request”. This means that the images aren’t not optimized with Image Optimization?

    There is the picture:

    LSCache Image Optimization

Library with Optimized Image, and one picture doesn't optimized by LiteSpeed Image Optimization in Media Library?

It happened about a month ago, while the 7-Zip logo happened two weeks ago.

Why this is happening? and how to fix this problem? Thank you ^_^

Please give your API key so we can have a check.

Following https://www.litespeedtech.com/support/wiki/doku.php/litespeed_wiki:cache:lscwp:image-optimization if you have another image optimization plugin, our optimization may fail and won’t start the rest requests anymore.

Also, may I know what the other image optimization plugin is?

If you don’t see the webp switch icon on that item, that means it didn’t generate webp.

    My API key is EU5EN***************************

Owh, I see, there is a warning in website, and, I just saw if there was such a warning ??

My other optimization Image is Imagify, and my Images are optimized before I optimize with LiteSpeed Cache, because Imagify doesn’t have a convert to WebP image.

Not only on Library. Maybe, that four image aren’t converted to WebP, because the image are stated as “Image groups request”

Included two images in below screenshot:

    Network Inspection

There are other ways to convert images to WebP format, without optimization? I see, that I just set Only Request WebP to ON in LiteSpeed Cache > Settings > Media, but how if my blog has been visited from Browser that not supported WebP, like Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge? What mean of “Only Request WebP”? And, there is a learn more for that Option?

    Thank You ^_^

    Hello!

When you enable WebP, there are two copies of each page stored in cache: one with WebP images, and one with the usual JPG or PNG images. If a user visits your site from Firefox or another browser that doesn’t support WebP, he will be served the copy with JPG images.

The version of the page that includes WebP images will only be served to browsers that support it.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi, Lisa ??

Thank you for your reply ^_^

But, I have a suggestion, please describe about a warning before using the Image Optimization feature in Description or FAQ or in this plugin, before using it. So, the other and potential users can know if there is a warning like that before using it.

And, please to describe about a How to Create WebP Version without using LiteSpeed Cache Image Optimization in FAQ. And, it’s effect for Web Browser that not supported WebP, like Mozilla Firefox. So, the users can know how to create WebP Version for their blog/web images and know about what happened if their blogs have visited from Browser like Mozilla Firefox ??

I hope what I suggest it is done for the convenience of potential users ??

I mark it as Solved Problem and no changes at status, Thank you for your answering ^_^

    Hi, Farrel.

There is full documentation for the Image Optimization feature on our wiki, and there is a link to this documentation on the plugin’s Image Optimization page as well.

We could probably do a better job of making that link more obvious, though, so thanks for your suggestion!

    Hi, Lisa.

Sorry, for replying again for long time.

That option is activated and then I revert and remove all optimized images. After this, I purge all LiteSpeed Cache (not empty entire cache), Cloudflare and My Pull CDN. But, the format still doesn’t change or converted to WebP. What should I do after Activate Only Request WebP and Remove all Optimized Images? Should I use Image Optimization again for this?

    Thank You ^_^
