This is my results with NitroPack, without NitroPack it’s like 700kbs of images and 300kbs of fonts even though the pagespeed is good enough (92, 97 on gmetrix). Before using NitroPack, I was using Jetpack combined with WP-Optimizer which is completely free, everything was fine but the image/font sizes were too much and NitroPack seems to have solved that for me, except that I’m limited with it on the free version. What is so special about NitroPack that drops the image and font size this much? I was optimizing my images before aswell, is it the Cloudflare CDN?

    Hi @edinmaloku,

Thank you for reaching out and we apologize for the delay in getting back to you here!

Images are expected to have a lower size as they are optimized by using our Lossless algorithm.
Other than that, images are also lazy loaded – so it is expected that only a few images are called when looking at the requests or via speed test – those that are in the viewport. Any other would only be called and loaded upon scrolling down a page.

By default, fonts were also excluded from our Critical CSS, so it is possible that only a few were loaded in the beginning, prior to the page being fully loaded & interacting with it.

    Regards,
