I have had to change my security options recently and now it appears that i cannot sign into my site….

This happened about 24 hours ago and after trying to use backed up htaccess files that failed i just deleted the current htaccess file and managed to sigh in and then i found to my surprise that the htaccess files as had been updated….l but was it accurate???

Is there anyway to reconstitute the htaccess file so that it is reliable or do i have to start again with your plug in.

    thanks

There is no other way to construct the htaccess file.

You can use the options explained in the following post to reset everything so you can access your site without any issue:

OK, This thread is marked as Resolved, but i still have an issue, i uninstalled the plugin and cleared the htaccess file of all the plugin entries. and the site works fine and i even loaded one other new plugin.

There were a few database entries associated withe plugin so i just emptied thos databases.

I have now tried to reinstall the plugin, and as soon as i activate the new install, the browser page changes with the following information in the url entry

    ?aiowpsec_do_log_out=1&al_additional_data=1

What goes before the ? here is my test url so i will not post that info here.

So now i cannot sign into the wp-admin,

    Any suggestion please?

    Thank You

More info to the above post.

I have just noticed that there is another htaccess file in the AIOS plugin logs folder that was created at our about the same time that i reloaded the new All in one Security plugin.

The main htaccess file in the site dirctory has not changed in any way, there are no plugin entries in that htaccess file.

    help Please.

OK, This plugin is still not working and i have now done the following:-

Removed all the entries associated with the plugin from the database.

via FTp removed the plugin folder and its contents.

signed into wp-admin, all seems to be fine.

Reinstalled the plugin all ok… Activate the plugin . . . BANG …. browser immediately goes to a URL indicating that there is an error. as before..

    Help needed please.

    thx

Hi, what happens if you disable all of your other plugins an then you try to reinstall this plugin again? If you run into issues and you want to completely remove this plugin try the following instructions.

    Thank you
