My Home Page Loads Very Slowly

  • So I just found out from someone that my home page loads incredibly slowly (for some reason when logged in to wp and viewing my homepage it goes decently quick). I used tools/pingdom and that timed itself out. I just spent 3 hours redoing my homepage after this trying to undo some fancier stuff (its not fancy). I bought a new theme a few weeks ago I really like, I have no idea if that has anything to do with it or not. It’s credence theme. I have about 30 plugins but I’m not using all of them. My home page is not that fancy at all, I don’t know why it is slow. Can anyone explain/help me without being too technical? my site is https://www.decisive-empowered-resilient.com Thanks!

  • You have answers in your question only.

    1) Just remove unwanted plugins.
    2) try to use some cache plugins.
    3)If you have images, then try to use some plugins to compress it.

    Note: Even cheap hosting also bother so much, i believe you have got the good one.

    Just work on above points and probably it will help you. Sometimes uses of Lots of JavaScript will also create problems.
