My Header is generated twice, No idea why.. Help Please.

  • Alright so for some reason I couldn’t change my WordPress’ header title for the life of me, so I check out the page source and it seems like my header is being generated twice and the header title I don’t want is being generated first. Where would the first title be coming from? My index.php for my custom theme only has the header being generated once.

    Go to https://www.ericmendes.com and check out the page source and you’ll see what I mean.

  • Look at the header.php file – maybe that’s where it is. Otherwise, it’s in index.php, but you said you checked that? Or do you have all the header stuff in the index file, not just including header.php?
