We added the photo gallery to this page months sgo, but noticed that it recently stopped loading the pictures in the gallery. The pinwheel just spins forever without loading any pictures.

Chrome’s address bar shows an error that says it is blocking the page from loading insecure content. If I click “load unsafe scripts,” the gallery loads the pictures with no problem and bahaves as expected.

My best guess is that it has something to do with http vs. https. I think chrome wants photo gallery to use https to load the picture, but gallery is using http. I can’t find anywhere to change a setting to make gallery use https. What am I missing?

Hi,

Please note that it may be a conflict with other Plugins and Theme. Please deactivate all the Plugins and change the Theme, and see if Gallery works properly. If there is not any issue, please activate other plugins one by one, and see which causes the problem.

With all plugins deactivated (except the gallery) and a different theme, the gallery still fails to load. It worked just fine weeks ago.

Sorry..Meant to post here..

Same problem here!! It’s driving me CRAZY! I will spend hours uploading photos, putting them in a gallery and then watch as they fade away over a couple weeks. Then, I have to go back and try to figure out a way to upload them again.

Not doing anything different or adding any plugins! The site will be working fine and then it will just spin like the previous poster is experiencing. Something is wrong here and we need a fix.

Also, Its near impossible to create a gallery and expect it to work the first time when using image browser. The first picture inevitably will not load. You can then click on the arrow and the next one will load fine(until it disappears) and then go backwards to the “first” pic and it will then show up. However it will not show up again on a new site visit.
