My galleries are showing but I cannot see them in the dashboard

  • I fear I have missed something. I have just logged in to my website after quite a long time away and I cannot see any of my galleries in the dashboard tab “galleries”. My galleries are still showing on my website thank goodness, but I don’t know where they have gone.

    I wanted to check if you have updated your WordPress Core to the latest version. It would be helpful if you could confirm that both your themes, plugins, and WordPress core are up to date. This will allow us to proceed with further investigation.

    Hi there Faisal,

    yes everything is up to date as far as I can tell.

    I can access the galleries from the page, but I cannot see them in the dashboard option.

    Hey Peter, ????

    Please enable the WordPress debug log. This will allow us to see if any PHP errors are being produced.

    1. Edit wp-config.php and insert the following lines:


    define( 'WP_DEBUG', true);
    define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true);
    define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false);

    2. Reproduce the issue.
    3. Locate the debug log in: /wp-content/debug.log
    4. Paste the latest lines here. No need to paste the entire log file. Just 20 lines or so will do. Please censor any sensitive information.
