My first install ….

  • … and I have to say that I absolutely LOVE the way WordPress is 1) easy to install, 2) Easy to set up 3) Easy to make a plan of action with your content and 4) is fun – really fun to use.

    My page https://pagosawebsites.com was started strictly as a way for me to show of some of the web work I have done. Let me know what you think about my progress thus far (I am on day two of development).

    bravenet is one the spammiest piece of crap hosts there is — second only to layered tech.

    I did look earlier though, its nice.

    Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL which is required for WordPress.

    There is an error on the DATABASE:

    I dont care if you pay or not. referers from bravenet IPs are summarily banned inside more than a few web apps. But then, you get what you pay for.

    If you would like to debate that – go start a thread elsewhere, instead of hijacking this one with your unsolicited advice, (no-one asked you to recommend a host, did they?) and Ill point out all the spammy bravenet sites for you.

    Not look like a “portfolio” to me, look more like a PERSONAL BLOG PAGE, the content look too BLOGGED, keep the good OLD FASHION style i like it,

    Make the MAIN MENU a more STYLIZED menu. Make it more WEBSITE and LESS BLOGSITE, try something without the DATES and CATEGORY DISPLAYS, also don’t put comments.

    And the LOGO don’t compete with all the rest, make a more BOLDER font for the LOGO,
