My edited category page vanishes when I try to edit it

I have also updated the plugin to 1.6. Same problem, whenever there is   in the code the editor turns blank after saving.

Yep, I have the same thing here.

1. Edit the category(woocommerce product category), add all the cool stuff. (thanks! awesome plugin)
2. Save it and it displays great! All shortcodes work too.
3. Attempt to edit and update the category content – and All the Content vanishes.. if you dn’t have the original content – make sure to NOT! click on save.. because that content will just disappear forever. – clicking off the page and going to the website-view to copy it all and then re-editing with all the images/text/code is needed.

Wordpress Version 3.7.1
latest Woocommerce

Can you please post which theme you are using.

If it is a free theme then I’ll try and sort through the issue.
If it is a premium theme then sorry I will not be able to help.

I did post the them in my previous post.

I can supply you the theme as they update it very often so I’m sure they won’t mind. the theme is not free though ?? but this happens even when I use WP default themes. – if the theme displays the data but the re-editing of the product category itself causes the content to vanish, isn’t that just a value somewhere in the code?

Can you try 1.7

The problem is the way that php handles multiple empty paragraphs.

The latest update will strip out multiple empty paragraphs but will at lease preserve everything else.

If you need larger spaces between paragraphs you will need to use css to set the spacing.
