My custom theme … any good?

Also, when you resize the window, the sidebar changes width and the main content stays the same.

I love the simplicity of your design. It’s very easy on the eyes and has easy navigation. Great job!

Your blog says that people can download your theme from somewhere on your site, but I haven’t been able to find it. Your style is exactly what I am looking for for my humble little blog…something nice, but simple. Could you let me know where to get access to your code?

In IE 6, the main page is broken: you can as far down the main column as the side bar extends. Also, there is a weird vertical white gap in the header area between the site title and the search area.

Also, I echo the concern about the sidebar resizing when the window is resized. It would be better if the main column did the resizing.

I really like the basic look though, including the search up top.

Marianne: yeah, I noticed that too a while back … I think it’s fixed now, tho.

andrea_r and WhollyHis: the sidebar scaling was planned and is easier to do, but I think I may make a minimum width (though that requires a hack for IE) – because it looks bad when the screen is REALLY small.

gregkendallball: thanks for pointing that out. I’ll fix that ASAP, and leave a download link here (and on the blog).

WhollyHis: I checked it out in IE 6 while I was away, just to see how things looked, and didn’t notice the white bar you mentioned, and I’m unsure what you mean about the sidebar (“you can as far down the main column as the side bar extends”). But I’ll check again, and see if I can’t resolve it.

Ooops … the sidebar/footer issue is still around. will work that kink out, and upload a new version.
