Hi we run a course site using LearnDash and the course editor has a specific role to just edit courses. I have used the clone feature to create a clone of the editor role. When the editor logs in she can see all of the plugins and has lots of access to settings in certain plugins. To manage that I worked out that if I untick Manage options in the general settings, It removes all of the items that should should not see. That solves this… however the course editor cannot then preview her courses created. It hides the content like she is logged out.

What setting would i enable so that she can preview as I have already enabled all of the LearnDash settings

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Plugin authors can use any capability they want, including custom capabilities to access their features. If you know which capabilities are required to edit courses in LearnDash, you can assign those capabilities to a user/role.

Keep in mind that many plugins create custom capabilities or grant access to admin settings pages using a native capability associated with administrators, such as manage_options. In that case, you need to contact the plugin author to get more information about capabilities used in their plugin.
