• I created a child page that is not showing under the parent page.
This page https://www.thedomesticadministrator.com/loving/find-the-da/ is set up as a child to “Loving” under “appearance<menus” but it is not showing up as a submenu when viewing the site. Not sure what else to do.
I created a new Find the DA page, deleted and emptied the trash of the old page. I moved this page under different parent menu pages and it will not show up as a submenu.
    Thanks in advance.

The blog I need help with is thedomesticadministrator.com.

As I can see on your site, your theme has multiple navigation menus, can you please confirm you’re editing the right one, i.e. the one on the top and not the one in the footer?

Hi Gagan, My apologies for the delay. Thank you kindly for responding. I am editing the top navigation menu. I created a new child today called “Cookbook Challenge 2015” and it is not showing up either. Thank you for any assistance you can provide. Thank you for volunteering as well.

I would like to ask you, are you sure you’re adding it to the right menu?
Also you need to make sure that the menu in which you’re adding those links, is selected as the primary menu for the theme.

Yes, I am adding to the primary menu. This is what I do:
    1) “Add page”, and then, on the right, select parent and select the child page level (1,2,3,etc)
    2) Appearance>menus – I check the child page placement. I have even tried to move the subpage under another parent menu and nothing happens.
I am definitely editing in the primary menu though. I can see the secondary menu but I am not editing that.
    Thanks.

I just checked again on your site, and viewed the page source, just to find out, the top menu is actually “Secondary Menu” as its having ID named “second-menu” and also that the menu item you are adding is actually coming on the page, but in a hidden menu(primary menu is hidden).

So edit the secondary menu instead and this will resolve your issue for sure.
