    1. How do I exclude my site (category, pages, posts) from opening in a new tab?
    2. Is there a way to automatically add ‘nofollow’ and ‘open in new tab’ for affiliate links?

    Hi,

We do not have an option to include only links on specific pages or affiliate links etc.

But you can Exclude pages or links by class in the Exceptions tab if that helps ??

Exceptions tab doesn’t work. (Or at least, I can’t get it to work on my end). The pages I specified are still opening in a new tab

    Hi,

I see you have set the “Own settings for excluded links” option, can you send me a screenshot of the Excluded Links tab as well so I can see what settings you have configured there?

To clarify, I’m trying to get all the links on my website to open in new tab (besides obvious pages like my contact, about, privacy, header links, etc.)

    Hi,

If your links already have a target attribute set you will need to also check the “Overwrite existing value” option under the “Open external links:” dropdown.

    Hey Alexandru,

    External links work fine.

It’s the internal links that I’m having trouble with.

So, I’d like all my internal links to open in new tab. That’s what I did here: https://prntscr.com/qgm06z

However, I don’t want internal links such as my contact page, about page, header links to open in a new tab.

    In short:

How do I make the links on the header/footer as exception?

    Hi,

Unfortunately, we don’t have link Exclusions for Internal links ??
The only thing you might be able to do is manually add the target=”_self” to the Contact Page, About Page etc. links and leave Overwrite existing values box unchecked for internal links.

How do I manually add the target? @talextech

    Hi,

Unfortunately I can’t give you any specific details as it depends on your theme. But if the admin interface of the theme doesn’t have any option for that you will need to edit the theme’s files and see where those menus are generated to add target=”_self”.

Hi, this is a very basic question. Is there a way to test if the plugin is working? Thanks

Open the page in incognito mode, click the link and see what happens ?? Or use the console to inspect it.
