This was happening with the older version of the calendar plugin, so I’ve updated to the latest version of the calendar plugin hoping it would help, but unfortunately I’m still getting the error Access to this feed was denied (403). Please ensure you have public sharing enabled for your calendar.

My calendar IS shared and public so I’m not sure how to fix this – I really need to asap as its for my business.

  • I’m suddenly having this problem, too – though I’ve successfully been using the plug-in for a while.

Read the top post on the forum – the Google API that this plug in used is out of commission, but he is rolling out an update soon… ish. In the meantime there is downtime.

I like the plugin, but … breaking my website is uncool. Where can I download the previous version and revert?

A rather unfortunate situation. As you might suspect, my clients believe the world is ending

Just read more on the API issue. Existing feeds would have broken once the cache expired. Ouch! Guess we’ll put up the recommended hack and hope for a quick resolution.

Yes please! We will have to change to a new plugin soon if we can’t figure out a fix. Thanks!

So unfortunately, this API issue is affecting all of the other Gmail capable widgets / plugins right now as well, (at least all the ones I’ve tested, and its just about all of them today) — so unfortunately I’ve had to revert to the ugly Gmail widget for now. If anyone has any better fix up recommendations until this API thing is fixed, please post here!

I’m using the reverted version, and it’s giving the 403, feed sharing error

Same here, this is a huge deal. Any idea how long it will be before it is fixed?

Version 2.1.0 of the plugin is all that will work from now on. It is not an issue with the older version of the plugin but the fact that the API it uses is no longer available. I strongly urge you to update to the latest version. If you are still having issues after that let me know and I will do my best to help you.

    Thanks

Please continue to update as we release them as we try to fix bugs for everyone as we go along. Going to go ahead and mark this topic resolved now since we have the new version with the v3 API running.

Thanks for all of your patience!
