My blog posts show Related Posts Twice

What is that second section further down which has the title of the post? I suspect it has the the_content filter as well which is causing it to be pulled twice.

That’s the section I want to be rid of, thank. the_content.. where do I fix that? I’ll look through settings and filters in the plugin.

No, the_content isn’t in any of the php files for templates, nor in the functions.php file.

If I disable the plugin contextual Related posts, the second title is still on the page, above where the second related posts section was.

Which theme are you using? I can try to see this. There is something in that page that is displaying the Title twice and also the post content which is causing the filter to show up.

If this is designed via a theme builder, then you might to edit the template to see that there isn’t a stray post content/title in there

Hi, I realized it was only happening on three pages. The theme is Museo.

If I deactivate the plugin (which I’ve done now), I still see the extra heading on the three posts. Very low down on the page. It’s weird, even if I duplicate a post that’s not doing this, then copy over everything from a post below, the extra heading is still there. But that’s not part of the plugin, so it’s a moot point. Thanks for your help though.

Worth trying to switch to another theme temporarily – or alternatively seeing if something like a shortcode is forcing it on these three posts.

Also the typical one of disabling all other plugins as well to see if it goes.

I thought it might be useful to someone to post my solution. The owner uses landing pages by plugin ops, and she had landing pages that were named the same and that had the same slug as the blog posts that were a problem.
