  • Go to your Post inside your dashboard and delete the hello world post. For the meta links, go to your appearance and delete the meta at the widget area by dragging it away.

    Hi Richard

    Thanks for the message, but they don’t show up there, as I have deleted the Hello World, and it does not show up on my dashboard, yet it does on my live blog. The meta links again are not in the widget area where you put the widgets on the RHS.

    Thats why I am very confused as to why they are showing up!
    I have other blogs and never experienced this problem before.

    To delete the ‘Hello World’ post you’ll need to remove it completely from the trash.

    To remove the sidebar stuff you’ll need to edit the sidebar.php file in /wp-content/themes/your-theme/sidebar.php
