• Hi, everyone. This is my first post here and I’m sorry if the answer is already posted (which I’m certain it is) somewhere in the HELP area. I just couldn’t find it, and I think it may be something I did. I’m new to using WordPress on my own and I think I must’ve done something wrong in the set-up part. I just signed on with Blue Host and they installed my new version of WordPress (6.2.1) with the one-click thing.

But, my admin panel is still sorta empty. I only have these as the main tabs:

    Write
    Manage
    Design
    Comments

Looking at tutorials and all, I think I’m supposed to also have a LINK tab and one for PRESENTATION. Is this correct?

I’d like to have those. Could someone please direct me in getting both of these (and any others I’m missing). Thanks so much!

    Best,
    Jennifer

  • Design is the new presentation. Those 4 are it. Try clicking them. Everything you need is within them.

Oh my gosh, really? That’s awesome!

Thanks so much, thisisedie! That makes me feel a lot better. OK, cool. I have been working in them since yesterday and you’re so right, they’re comprehensive. I just thought maybe I was missing something, but instead, I think I should just be looking at more up-to-date tutorials. Hee. ??

Sorry for taking up forum space. Thanks again for letting me know!

    Best,
    Jennifer
