My account login error messages can’t be translated

    Error: The password field is empty.

    Unknown username. Check again or try your email address.

    Above two messages can’t be translated. I even added this to the “Template” as a new String, and it still did not work. I also tried relocating the translation files which did not work.

    These messages are both in the WordPress core. I have no problem translating them.

    In what way can they not be translated?

    Yes, the WordPress core has these strings, not the WooCommerce. Thank you for the clarification.
