    Hi there,

I added the my account icon with neve pro in my menu, but it′s only visible for logged-in users.

If the user is not logged in there is a big gap between the last menu item and the cart icon which doesn’t look very nice.

Is it possible to always show the account icon like the cart icon and not only for logged-in users?

Many thanks in advance for your help

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @aqualon!

    Thanks for choosing Neve!

For users that are not logged in, there is a “Show “Register” for Non-Logged Users” option that you can activate. This way “Register” will appear instead of “My account” (or the text you added, if you chose to display any) so it will be possible for the user to sign up. The theme doesn’t currently support the option of displaying the icon for users that are not logged in, but I will suggest it to our developers.

Regarding the space between the menu and the cart icon, it doesn’t appear on my test instances. Please make sure there is no extra space for any widget left between the menu and the “my account” widget that could cause that space to appear, as you can see here.

Also, as you use the Pro version of Neve, please contact us here for any further issues you may encounter so we will be able to troubleshoot quicker and more efficiently.

Thank you and have a nice day!

    Hi Lucia,

thank you very much for your info.

It would be very nice to have the option of displaying the icon for users that are not logged in.

Can you please tell, where i can translate in the meantime the “register label” with or without WPML.

I don′t find that string anywhere.

Many thanks in advance for your help

    Hi @aqualon!

I checked your site but I can’t find any “register” label that is not translated. Could you please provide us a screenshot highlighting it?

Thank you and have a nice day!

    Hi Lucia,

many thanks for your fast reply!

    My mistake ??

    The site is: https://www.acrylic-elegance.com

If you change to english there is still “Mein Konto” in the header and it should be “my account” until it will be possible to have the option of displaying the icon for users that are not logged in.

    Best regards

    Oliver

    Hi @aqualon!

Firstly make sure all the Neve and WooCommerce strings are scanned by WPML. This can be done from “WPML” -> “Themes and plugins localization”, as you can see here. You have to check Neve from “Strings in the themes”, WooCommerce from “Strings in the plugins” and scan them. Then you should go to “String translation” and select “neve” from the “In domain” dropdown, as you can see here. After that you should look after “My Account” (make sure you look on all pages, as there are multiple pages with strings from Neve), click on the “+” next to it and add it’s translation, as you can see here.

Let me know how this worked!

    Have a nice day!

    Hi Lucia,

thank you very much for your efforts!

I just replied Matei via mail and I wrote:

    Now it′s done! ??

I searched the string translations for ?Mein Konto“ in all domains – no result

But there appears an additional search option: Can’t find the strings you’re looking to translate?

1.) click ?Can’t find the strings you’re looking to translate?“
2.) click ?Choose text for translation“
    3.) search for ?Mein Konto“
4.) find the option ?[theme_mods_neve]my_account_register_text“ value ?Mein Konto“
5.) mark it and click ?add to string translation“
6.) search ?Mein Konto in string translation in ?all domains“ or “admin_texts_theme_mods_neve“
    7.) translate

    Ready!

Wonderful, I’m glad it’s all fixed now! Thanks for letting me know! That’s indeed the way you should manually find the strings if they don’t automatically appear in the first place.

    Have a great day!
