    Hi,
I noticed that after installing the current WooCommerce and German translation plugin, the “cart checkout myaccount sample page shop” links are still in English – and except for “my account” they work. For some reason, the page for “my account” doesn’t exist as all it’s sublinks. I already saved the general and permalink settings, just to be sure. Do I have to recreate the shop with German link names?
    best regards,

    G.

    @grendels:
    Hi there!
    Thanks for your feedback!

The problem is when you’re activating my language pack plugin after WooCommerce, then the translated permalink parts (slugs, like “my-account” etc.) are coming “too late”…

It’s not an issue with my plugin this would also happen without it and different translation files.

However, you should see in your “Pages” section in WordPress now also German pages for all these instances like Account, Cart etc. If not, just take the English ones, rename them, also edit the permalink part (in German WordPress also called “Titelform”) and re-add them in WooCommerce Settings -> Pages. This should work.

    Does it make sense?

I hope so and it helps…
    Thanks, Dave ??

    Hello Dave,
thank you very much for your reply. I did the translation manually, now it’s

    “Kasse
    Mein Benutzerkonto
    Shop
    über Uns
    Warenkorb”

with the fitting page plugs, so (almost) all is well. What I couldn’t figure out yet – I have to search the forums first though – is why the “my account” still doesn’t exist. I re-saved the permalinks and general settings page, but it’s still a 404. I wonder, too: Should the “my account/Mein Benutzerkonto” page be even visible at all if I’m not logged in as a user?
    thx,

    Grendel

Oh, I forgot to set the thread to solved. Also, the 404 issue was solved due to a nonexisting SSL eCommerce certificate and WooCommerce being forced to use it (should have created two threads anyway). Thank you for helping!
