My accordions keep disappearing

  • Twice now I have gone to my site and the accordions are gone. When I log into the back end, the accordions are still there, but all of the sections and settings have disappeared. The first time, I just recreated them all, but I can’t keep doing that. I’ll have to find a better solution.

    I should add that I have used this plugin on other sites without this happening.

    Please check your screen options at top right of settings area.

    Also please share me screenshot of your backend.

    Thanks for offering to check, but I’ve already removed the plugin as I had accordions on my three most important pages and couldn’t afford to leave them unpopulated for even a day.

    On the other hand, I’m curious to know which Screen Options would cause the accordions to vanish. Please tell me which screen you were referring to, as I’d like to look on another site where I’m using this plugin. Do you mean:
    – the All Accordion page?
    – the Edit Accordion page?
    – the actual WP page where the accordion is supposted to appear?

    Thank you! It appears that Add Accordion wasn’t checked. How would that have happened if no one had ever clicked on it?

    I’m not prepared to do that because:
    (a) I didn’t turn off that option in the Screen Options (especially not TWICE)
    (b) As a test, it turned it off on a site where I’m still using the plugin. It did hide my accordions from the back end, but not the front end. So that’s not the answer.
