• For some reason my pictures stopped showing up… I recently pointed a .com to the wordpress site and now for some reason the pictures on that page stopped showing.

Also, everything is fully updated…not sure if that makes a difference or not.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

I have tried those suggestions but for some reason my pics are still not showing up on my “about” page.

    At:

Please check if your About Page is using a Page Template.

It may be assigned to the Page in the Page Editor or it may be from a custom page template in your theme such as page-about.php

The URL that you’re uisng for your images is wrong:

    https://maxfitwellness.net/?page_id=45/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/FIGHT-PIC1.jpg

    It should be:

    https://maxfitwellness.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/FIGHT-PIC1.jpg

The change between .net and .com is what happens when you change domains, but the additional part of ?page_id=45 should never be there in the first place.

If you look through the source code of the pages content by clicking the ‘Text’ button on the editor, you’ll be able to find where this has happened thorugh your pages.

I actually found this by pressing ctrl U and noticed this but is there a way to take that out?

Ahhhh….I see…thanks! I’m going to remove it now.

Yes. Update the page the way that I said above. ??

Okay, so i’m still having the same issue… When I try to log in to the maxfitwellness.net/wp-admin it redirects to .com/wp-admin and the text with the ?page_id=45 is already corrected; however, when I go to maxfitwellness.com and click on the about page it still goes to .net/?page_id=45. Is there a way to fix this?

That sounds like a completely different problem to the images not showing up. From what you’ve said it sounds like you’ve either got the URL’s for the site wrong, or you’ve changed the URL’s in the past and haven’t update the database with the new settings (WordPress stores full URL’s throughout the posts/pages so it’s not as simple as changing it in one place.

How would I edit the database to make the correction though?
